„asexual people can still fall in love“ – wait a second!

Because I’ve seen it on my timeline: Don’t say things like „asexual people can still fall in love“; pseudo-humanizing alloromantic (=not aromantic; people who experience romantic attraction) asexuals & conforming to the amatonormative standards are not worth the hurtful implications for aromantic people!

"[aces] can still fall in love" this sentence is often used, but is full of amatonormativity: There are alloromantic asexual peeps out there, yes. But the phrasing ("can still") implies that aromantic people (whether allosexual or asexual) are somehow "flawed", …
